Madeira Regency Cliff - Adults Only Hotel - Funchal (Madeira)

The breakfast was fantastic, but the evening buffet was like a sad joke, definitely not worth your money. Pitiful that they charge for extra tea bags, too. I honestly expected more luxury, woudl ve been nice if they considered a little upgrade for myself. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

superior room was huge with lovely bed. its location at a moderate distance from anjo da praca da assicom was great and stunning. terrific service, though a few employees were not very helpful.

Well, Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

The breakfast had a good choice and was always hot and fresh.

The staff at the bar were unhelpful and misinformed us about the safe size for our laptops. This led to a frustrating experience as we had to carry them around the entire stay. There were extra charges for bottled water which felt excessive, and the air conditioner was ineffective.

Beautiful sea view,. Great breakfast/restaurant terrace,. Helpful personnel,... Free parking (if available). Good restaurants / bars near the hotel

Very nice, well maintained hotel, with nice views. An upgrade to a superior room is worth the extra money. The quality of the restaurant is good. The staff is very helpful. In the words of one of the staff members: "Thank you for thanking me for doing my job." :)

we had got a suite as an upgrade, but also the other rooms we saw were pleasantly large

comfortable stay , but minor issues

The suite offered generous space. Breakfast on the terrace provided lovely coastal views, setting the perfect tone for the day. The pool area was a tranquil retreat, ideal for peaceful afternoons by the water. Having a sea view really added to the overall experience.

Some fixtures in the room seemed slightly outdated, which detracted from the overall luxury experience.

Breakfast was okay.

But we found it bad that we had to pay an entrance fee to be able to swim in the complex and the sea.

The balcony views were just breathtaking! ✨ Waking up to the sea view while sipping coffee made my stay so special. Only downside—some of the room fixtures were a bit outdated.

Spacious and pleasant rooms. Good views from most rooms. Pleasant staff. Two swimming pools, albeit small, with uncrouded relaxing by the pools. Both indoor and outside dining areas were very pleasant.

The included breafast, although extensive did not vary daily. There was no facility for cooking eggs on demand.
